Oxford’s unique houseboat community has a reputation for nonConformism, self-sufficient living and upholding artistic decoration. They inspired the author Philip Pullman’s Gyptians, the riverboat culture in the His Dark Materials trilogy (one of my favourite novels!) I’ve recently discovered that the Oxford boat people have been harassed and bullied by the council. Why? They’re not doing anything wrong… are they?

For many years Walt Disney has been a name synonymous with family entertainment. Almost every person on Earth alive today has had their youth influenced by Walt Disney films. Today, now as much as ever, the Walt Disney Corporation continues to release films, build theme parks and touch the hearts and minds of the world’s children. As anything aimed at children Disney has a reputation and image of innocence and purity, but does it deserve it? I think not. There are several websites and videos exposing subliminal messages in Disney films of an Occult and sexual nature. (EG: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIvMNfrZ-jU) I have discovered something about Disney’s first feature film, Snow White, released in 1937. This is not a case of subliminal messaging, but it indicates that Walt Disney had an interest in secret underground worlds and their mythical… or not so mythical… inhabitants.

Kevin Annett- Liverpool Lecture 12/3/11

Lecture by Revd Kevin Annett in Liverpool on the 12th of March 2011. Kevin is a former clergyman from Canada who discovered that the churches in Canada in collaboration with the government and big business murdered over 50,000 Native Canadian children in the Indian Residential School system between 1890 and 1992. He also reflects how his own experiences reveal so much about the world at large and the systems that control humanity. The Hunt for CM24

A young professor is working on a new treatment for cancer with dreams of saving millions of lives when he is approached by a dying woman begging him to help her. When he agrees all hell breaks loose in his life and he has to flee to the only people offering him sanctuary, then to discover that all is not as it seems... I've uploaded this film because I feel wholeheartedly that it contains a vitally important message about the medical and pharmaceutical establishment that people need to hear and think about.
