Tin Foil Hat

The tin foil hat is the icon of the conspiracy theorist. I've just made one, not for my head but for my Internet router. My Internet service provider's equipment doesn't give the user the option of disabling the Wi-Fi signal, so I've had to take my own steps to protect myself and my home from this hazard. In his latest video, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-obPvx0RLg) my YouTube friend Slaxxxer mentions a film called The Langoliers and this reminded me of when I saw it before; and this made me go back and watch it again. It's an amazing film, based on a novella by Stephen King, and it's full of incredible cosmological concepts to do with dimensions of time.
The Langoliers can be watched on YouTube here. To avoid spoilers watch this before my own video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPkjMfoM6M8

Non-Conformist Folk Art

I spotted a brilliant non-Conformist mural in Banbury, Oxfordshire. It fills with me with hope to see things like this. Sadly a lot of this kind of uplifting, inspiring and rebellious creativity is constantly under threat.

Fosse Way was a Roman road that ran right along the original border of the Roman Empire in Britain, making it a boundary far more significant than any in the modern world.

In a film made over a period of more than a month, HPANWO TV investigates Secular Hall in Leicester, home of the Leicester Secular Society. See: http://www.leicestersecularsociety.org.uk/. In a world in which organized religion is constantly criticized, often justly, for being harsh and oppressive, is organized atheism any better?
