The Roswell Incident is not the only one of its kind, in

At the time of the thunder bolt I was living on the sutton/Kirkby border...when the explosion happened it woke me up as it was so loud & was echoing....I ran into my parents room who had heard it too & said to them "I think a jumbo jet has just crashed nearby".... within seconds of the explosion we heard an alarm going off at the bungalow across from our house & the guy who lived there within a couple of minutes came flying down his drive in his car & sped off toward the fire station which was close by...I know he was a fireman ( I think he was chief fireman)...I believe his surname was Walton.
ReplyDeleteIn the 1990s there was a considerable amount of UFO sightings in notts...by then I was living in huthwaite not far from the golf course.It was January early 90s and my boyfriend had gone to fetch a pizza...I had gone into the kitchen to put out some plates.I saw through the kitchen window a really bright light in the sky behind the houses across the road.I switched the kitchen light off so tat I could get a better look.Whatever it was came down really low in the field just behind the houses & just hovered there for a short time..by now as was alone I did become quite scared & was relieved when my boyfriend pulled up outside in his car..I ran down stairs & out of the flat to tell him what I had seen & that it was still behind our neighbours houses across the road..the object must have rose up as the bright light came into view & slowly moved over their houses & over our flat...there was no sound coming from it..it just glided slowly overhead.We both ran back upstairs & into the living room which was at the back of the flat to get a better view...as we ran into the living room the light bulb popped & we both screamed...we opened the window to look up as it glided over & we thought the object was a triangular shape as we could see little lights on the under side of it shaped like a triangle.
ReplyDeleteA few years later I was working on a nightshift & was on a lunch break outside in the early hours of the morning with about 9 other people.It was dark & we could see a light hovering above strawberry bank , it then started moving & headed straight towards where we were at the other end of common road against the A38.... as it got closer we did start to panic & when it was really close & hovered again we then realised that it was a Harrier jump jet....a Harrier jump jet in the middle of Huthwaite in the early hours in the morning...( I have read since about other harrier jump jet sightings around about the same time in south Yorkshire which isn't to far away.)....I can remember there was at the time what the call a "flap" of UFOs sightings which were spooking horses & causing them to bolt & run through streets in huthwaite & Kirkby.
